Previous Sculpture

Body, head and legs are carved from solid pine. Feet are shaped from modeling epoxy over wire supports.

The wings are laminated paper attached to a metal rod inserted through the body.

The entire piece is covered with hundreds of paper 'feathers' to unify the piece and give it texture.
